We recognize evolvewell as a studio open to the various
lineages of yoga, drawing from various traditions to embody
the true essence of yoga or "union" through the union of
diverse teaching styles and teachers. However, all yoga
taught at evolve well will be heart-oriented, spiritually
inspiring, yet grounded in a deep knowledge of optimal body
alignment in the poses. Instructors encourage students to
listen to the messages of their body, respect its wisdom
and limitations, and to progress at their own pace.
Yoga systematically stretches and strengthens muscles throughout
the body, increases circulation to internal organs and glands,
quiets the nervous system, and improves concentration. A
total system of self-care, yoga can bring vitality, health,
deep relaxation, and peace of mind.
We offer yoga classes for everyone from moms-to-be, children,
teenagers, families to seniors. Please see complete class
descriptions under Class Descriptions.
These classes are an exciting and invigorating adventure
into your body and create a special time to bond between
you and your child. Each class journey is a unique opportunity
to communicate with your child in a different manner and
build their self-confidence and stretch your body as well.
Everyone gets some physical activity, techniques to manage
their emotions and improved body awareness and coordination.
Families that yoga together, smile more.

catered to meet the needs of the evolvewell community. Within
the intimacy of our space, every student will be offered

Itsy Bitsy YogaŽ introduces your baby to the many benefits
of yoga in the first years of life. Helen Garabedian, an
Infant Developmental Movement Educator and Registered Yoga
Teacher, created this program which includes more than 125
yoga poses and techniques for babies from birth to 4 years
old (please note - this class is for infants 6 weeks to
9 months) that are developmentally appropriate and deepen
the parent/child bond. A calming and nurturing yoga class

sleep better, feel happier, and digest with ease.

During puberty and teen years, immense changes
are taking place in the body's chemistry and physiology. This
class creates a special place for teens to develop comfort
with their bodies, better understand the physical and emotional
shifts common at this age, and have a space to relax from
increasing academic and social pressures that they may be
experiencing.
With compassionate attention to each individual,
we provide the tools for teens to grow through these challenging
years and arrive intact on the other side. Students learn
experientially how to let go of stress and balance themselves
through the practice of yoga, including asanas (physical postures)
pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation. Teens
are asked to bring a journal or notebook to class.
